PROSPECTIVE homeowners can now take their property search entirely online and get a new home delivered directly to them.
Amazon has entered the real estate market by selling prefabricated tiny homes.
Amazon is selling three different-sized foldable tiny homes for under $20,000[/caption]For a price range of $18,000 to $20,000, hopeful buyers have a choice of three different-sized foldable homes.
The smallest AMFOR tiny home is 400 square feet and weighs roughly 6,600 pounds.
This is on sale for just $17,999.99, while the largest-sized home weighs 11,000 pounds and offers double the square footage for $19,999.99.
According to Amazon, all three of the AMFOR homes on sale are expandable and come with a kitchen and bathroom.
The home's versatility means the layouts can be altered to suit unique spaces and owners' individual needs
In addition, the foldable home's flat-pack nature means that it is mobile, allowing what Amazon called "flexible relocation."
The modern design boasts numerous windows and double entrance doors.
Meanwhile, the interior of the smallest version offers ample space with two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and living room.
"The kitchen will be equipped with cabinets and a sink, while the bathroom will have facilities such as a shower, a bathroom cabinet, and a toilet," the product description states.
"All doors, windows, flooring, internal wiring, switches, sockets, and drainage pipes will be installed within the house for convenient use."

With at least four people needed for safe installation, Amazon claims that the flatpack home can be set up in just 10 minutes.
A diagram of the installation process shows how teams start with the flat pack and then install the floors, roof, and walls.
While the ease of buying and setting up the home is a major benefit, the main selling points are the pricing and sustainability perks.
These are two major reasons why tiny homes are growing in popularity.
Smaller living spaces are automatically cheaper to live in, run, and purchase, this is why several communities have turned to them as a solution for homelessness.

Amazon called the prefabricated houses "a cost-effective solution for homeowners" as more people struggle to get on the property ladder.
In addition, the AMFOR homes have energy-saving features that reduce bills and help the environment.
The materials are durable and safe while also being eco-friendly, according to the e-commerce company.
If the style of these foldable homes is not for you, Amazon offers other options for those who want a more traditional look.
There is even a farm-style shed that has the potential to be a tiny home or annex for just $4,000.
The Home Depot and Lowe's have also turned their hand at the small properties.
