A GRANDFATHER has found out he won a $1 million lottery prize after receiving an exciting message.
The Illinois man was so surprised about his win that he asked his wife to read them out loud so they could sink in.

"I quickly scrolled through my account history, just to make sure I hadn't already bought one for that night's drawing," said the winner who chose to remain anonymous, according to FOX affiliate WFLD.
"That's when I saw an older ticket in my account saying 'You're A Winner!' and I clicked on it. I couldn't believe my luck when it said I won a million dollars."
The winner bought the Powerball lottery ticket on March 30 and the winning numbers were 12-13-33-50-52.
He told the outlet that he was shocked about the win.
"When my wife got home, I asked her to read my winning prize amount out loud," the winner said.
"That's when it finally started to sink in a little bit that this was, in fact, real."
He said that he wants to take his four grandchildren to Disney World with his winnings.
ANOTHER MILLION DOLLAR WIN
A Virginia mother won a million dollars on a ticket she was holding for her son.
Maria Roldan's son gave his ticket to his mother so she could check the numbers while he was on vacation.
The ticket ended up being the winner and the only one in the nation to win the $1 million prize in the drawing, according to the Virginia Lottery.

Roldan and her son went to the lottery customer service center in Northern Virginia to see how much they won.
"You are kidding, right?" her son asked Virginia Lottery officials.
Roldan matched five of the numbers except the Powerball number.
The winning numbers were 1-3-7-16-66, and the Powerball number was 5.
If all six numbers had matched, she would have won the estimated $532 million prize.

$5 MILLION VICTORY
Raymond Yancey, of New York, won $5 million on a Cash Royale ticket he bought from the grocery store.
On February 2, New York Lottery officials that Yancey claimed the price but wasn't able to get the full amount.
Yancey chose to receive the money in 20 annuity payments of $158,186 each.
After taxes, that is a little over $3 million, meaning he wasn't getting $2 million worth of his prize.
He could have received a lump-sum payment instead but both options would be taxed by the federal or state government.
