A MUSIC festival announcement left many Ginuwine fans fearing the worst when they thought it was actually an announcement of the singer's sudden death.

On Wednesday, the Pony singer posted a concert flyer promoting the Lovers & Friends event on Instagram.

The flyer featured a heavenly theme that showed Ginuwine, 53, clad in a leather jacket, in front of a blue background covered with white clouds.

And while the text on the poster promoted the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, fans thought the flyer's design looked more like a memorial tribute than a promo poster.

Ginuwine captioned the post, "Sometimes you know what you know, the people love what they love and your legacy is never in Question.

"See y'all there Vegas you already know …..sooner or later ima get my residency and it will be monumental trust and blv but for now let's GO!!!!! Lovers n Friends!!!! 27 years I'm in and still going."

In the comment section, one fan wrote, "Man! G u scared me lol."

"Me toooooo omg," agreed another.

A third person commented, "I thought I was seeing an obituary for a second"

"This is great news!! (This photo scared me!! lol)," added a fourth.

Ginuwine's music is famous for setting the mood but the singer recently told TMZ he doesn't listen to his own music when getting intimate.

Reporter Shirley Ju asked, "Do you make love to your own music?" the hitmaker laughingly responded, "No. Absolutely not."

Instead, Ginuwine revealed what's on his playlist for when things start to heat up.

"I like old-school stuff. Marvin Gaye, 'What's Going On,'" the singer said before adding, "I play Jodeci too."

He also spoke about being caught in the crosshairs of controversy last year after Britney Spears released her memoir, The Woman in Me.

LOST IN TRANSLATION

In October 2023, fans shared their reactions to Michelle Williams' impersonation of Justin Timberlake greeting Ginuwine in the audiobook version.

In one part of the book, Michelle said as Britney, "NSYNC hung out with Black artists. Sometimes, I thought they tried too hard to fit in."

The Toxic singer recalled encountering Ginuwine while in New York City with Justin.

Michelle narrated, "Walking our way was a guy wearing a huge blinged-out medallion.

"He was flanked by two giant security guards."

She continued as Britney, "J got all excited and said so loud, 'Oh yeah. Fo' shiz. Fo' shiz. Ginuwine what's up homie?'"

Ginuwine told TMZ, "If Justin would've did something like that, I probably would've looked at him like, 'Why are you acting like that?'"

He continued, "If he did that, that would be something that I would remember. That would've definitely stuck out. So nah, I don't remember that happening."

VIRAL MOMENT

Michelle's imitation of Justin during his encounter with Ginuwine went viral after the audiobook was released.

On X, formally Twitter, one person wrote, "LMAO Michelle Williams doing the audiobook reading of Britney Spears's impression of Justin Timberlake trying to act black to impress Ginuwine."

"(White) Michelle Williams doing an impression of Britney doing an impression of Justin Timberlake doing an impression of a Black person – this is art," a second user tweeted.

"I cackled when Michelle Williams did an impression of Justin Timberlake," added another.

A fourth fan asked for the book to be adapted into a movie and for "Michelle Williams to play Justin Timberlake."

"Give Michelle Williams her Oscar for narrating #TheWomanInMe," another comment begged.

"Nothing can prepare you for these 15 seconds of Michelle Williams doing a Justin Timberlake impression as written by Britney Spears," someone else claimed.
