A Good Morning Britain regular has been rushed into intensive care after a 'nightmare' hospital dash. Iain Dale is undergoing emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder after a long three hours in A&E. The 62-year-old broadcaster and political commentator often appears as a pundit on the breakfast programme, as well as being a presenter on LBC and various podcasts. He initially thought he was suffering from 'a nasty bout of food poisoning,' which left him absent from the radio on Monday, but Iain's symptoms soon worsened and he realised his condition was more serious.
