Pioneering 90s artist DJ Randall dies aged 54 as tributes pour in
British music pioneer DJ Randall is dead at 54(Picture: Facebook)DJ Randall, known as the 'the godfather of breakbeat', has tragically died aged 54 his representatives have confirmed. As of yet, no further details have been shared about the cause of death. The drum and bass DJ, full name Randall McNeil, rose to prominence in the 90s alongside British DJ partners Fabio and Grooverider for revolutionising jungle. After developing his own strand of breakbeat hardcore, he became a familiar voice on radio stations such as Rave FM and Rinse FM.
