Up until that point, the duo - Robson Green and Jerome Flynn- had garnered relative popularity as they starred as Dave Tucker and Paddy Garvey in hit ITV show Solider Soldier about the daily lives of a group of soldiers in a fictional British Army infantry regiment after the Cold War.
