The 51-year-old has been nominated for the best actor Oscar for his role in the Brutalist, alongside Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce and Joe Alwyn. He starred as Lszl Tth in Brady Corbet's masterpiece, following a Hungarian-Jewish immigrant who arrived in the US to pursue the American dream, after surviving World War II and the Holocaust.
