This is actually the Chasing Cars hitmaker's second hand surgery on this tour after he trapped his other hand in a door but continued to perform. His bandmate Gary Lightbody has now confirmed Johnny, 48, 'smashed his knuckles' while in Belfast, forcing him to head to the hospital.
