Controversial AFL commentator Kane Cornes has broken his silence on being banned by North Melbourne following what the club referred to as 'personal and vindictive attacks' on one of their young stars Harry Sheezel. The Kangaroos are set to take on Essendon at the Marvel Stadium on Thursday night and the Channel 7 commentator was due to conduct a pre-match interview with the club's senior coach Alastair Clarkson. He claimed that it was 'strange' that the coach no longer wanted to appear in an interview with the former Port Adelaide player, with the club also refusing to do other media opportunities involving Cornes.
