Ron Sigsworth dead at 63: Tributes are made to footy great who once provided a moment fans will never forget
Former Australian rugby league star Ron Sigsworth has sadly passed away at the age of 63. The former Newtown Jets fullback, who is also the brother of league great Phil Sigsworth, made 65 combined first-grade appearances for the Jets, the Canberra Raiders and Castleford Tigers during his distinguished footy career. The Newtown Jets announced the news on Monday morning and paid their respects to the former star on social media.
