Drake preempted the single release with an "Iceman: Episode 1" livestream where he drove around Toronto in a truck emblazoned with a false telephone number and the website the-iceman.com. As he circled Toronto, fans caught on that he was at the wheel, with several people approaching him as he responded "love" and "blessings." The stream, which started about 20 minutes later than promised earlier on social media, began with long shots of an Iceman warehouse until Drake eventually appeared. As he clocked in on the job, he sat and ate food while watching archival footage of himself as a young rapper. He suddenly segued into a live performance of "What Did I Miss?," complete with a close-up on a TV depicting him surrounded by firearms before segueing to him rapping the track in a freezer. All of this appears to be pushing towards what fans believe will be an album entitled "Iceman," which Drake has teased on Instagram by captioning photos with the name.
