Dancing with the Starscompetitors may put in the work all season long in the hopes of taking home the Mirrorball — but coming in second isn't so bad, according to one former dancer. ZombiesactorMilo Manheim, who was partnered withWitney Carsonduring season 27, recently admitted that even though he was the runner-up, it ended up working out for him. "To be honest, I feel like getting second place worked out in my favor because I'm reminded to this day that I was robbed," Manheim said during an appearance onThe Zach Sang Show. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 Manheim went on to explain that because his loss toBobby Boneswas such a major disappointment for many of his fans, people constantly come up to him and tell him that he should have won. "People come up all the time now and they're just like, 'You killedDancing with the Stars.' And I don't think I would be getting that validation had I won. So it's really nice," Manheim shared. He went on to add that he was glad theDWTSvoting system changed after his controversial loss, which saw Bones win the competition even though he had lower scores from the judges. "I will say that I was grateful that they changed the voting system after that year...So the fact that I was able to make them look at the system a little bit, that's the best thing I could have possibly hoped for," Manheim shared. He later compared the situation to that of hisZombiesco-starChandler Kinney, who came in third during season 33 ofDWTS. "I wasn't even worried for Chandler. I was like, 'All right, she's going to avenge me.' And then same thing happened to her. I mean, I don't want to say rigged 'cause it's not rigged...I'm not saying that," Manheim said while giving the camera a wink. He continued, "But I will say, I don't know, maybe it's just bias, but Chandler killed that thing and we just know how amazing she is at dancing." Despite their losses,DWTShas clearly brought theZombieco-stars together — and has paved the way for future cast members to join the show! You can heart all that Milo Manheim had to say below.
