It's been 36 years sinceSeinfelddebuted, but fans still rememberPatrick Warburton's character as one of the show's most beloved guest stars. Warburton appeared in just ten episodes, but his portrayal of David Puddy — Elaine's deadpan, on-again-off-again boyfriend — left a lasting impression. First showing up in 1995, his character became a cult favorite among fans. Since then, Warburton has kept busy, and recently, he's taken an unexpected turn in his career. During a recent appearance on "The Adam Carolla Show," the 60-year-old actor looked nearly unrecognizable. Wearing a backwards cap that showed off a bald hairdo and sporting a thick mustache, he looked very different from hisSeinfelddays — and fans say he's aging well, with some even saying he resemblesTom Selleck. So, what's he been up to since high-fiving everyone around him onSeinfeld? Warburton has become one of the most recognizable voice actors in Hollywood, lending his voice to hits likeFamily Guy,Bee MovieandKronk's New Groove. But now, he's shifting gears, stepping into stand-up comedy. "It's just been a wild ride this year," he toldTheWrapin May. "I have been touring non-stop and I had never done this before. I wrote and I performed, and it's been an incredible year. I've never known this kind of autonomy. I've always been told what to say, how to say a word, and that all changed." At first, he admitted he questioned whether it made sense to take on something new at his age, but those doubts didn't hold him back. "Then there's another side of me that's just like, at this point, it doesn't matter because it's been one of the most amazing years. So much fun," he said. Warburton has shared videos of his routine on social media, where fans have flooded the comments with praise and support. Despite being known for his iconic voice, Warburton made it clear he's not leaning on that for laughs. "There's no voices. It's not 'A Night With…' it's stand-up. There's only a couple of industry anecdotal stories, because I'm not a nightmare," he joked. Fans can still catch him live — his next show is set for July 11 in Rochester, New York.
