"This is in very poor taste," one user wrote in the comments, while someone else called the news a "disappointing" announcement from the royals. "Please change your mind and revoke the invitation," another user requested. Other users, however, tried to understand the reasoning behind the King's invite, with one user saying it is "good to stay in contact and to sort things out."
