In court documents filed in Los Angeles on Monday, July 21, and obtained by PEOPLE, Zoe is requesting joint legal and physical custody of the former couple's minor children, while asking for her and Berman to both have visitation rights. At the time, they stated that they would continue to co-parent their children together. "We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together," a joint statement shared by Berman and Zoe onInstagramread. "Our number one priority has been and will always be our children. We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share," it continued. Their date of separation is listed as June 27, 2024, in the court docs filed on Monday. "Irreconcilable differences" was cited as the reason for their split after 26 years and four months of marriage. They wed on Feb. 15, 1998. Additionally, the stylist asked for her name to be restored from Rachel Zoe Berman to Rachel Zoe.
