A search for a 23-year-old man from Nebraska is underway at Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park. Blake Kieckhafer, 23, of Omaha was reported missing to park rangers by family on Aug. 11, theNational Park Service said in a news releaseAug. 12. "He was last seen in the Upper Beaver Meadows area of Rocky Mountain National Park on Thursday, August 7 around 5:20 p.m. when he was dropped off by a ride share service," the news release said. Upper Beaver Meadows Road is located about a mile west of Beaver Meadows Entrance along U.S. Highway 36 on the eastern side of the park, according to the NPS. Kieckhafer was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and pants, with a dark-colored baseball cap with no logo, the press release said, adding he was carrying a small, maroon daypack. The missing individual is said to weigh 180 pounds and is 5'11 in height. He has buzzed/short blonde hair, a mustache, and blue/green eyes. Kyle Patterson, a spokesperson for Rocky Mountain National Park, said the agency had no updates to share when contacted by USA TODAY Aug. 13.
