The bodies of a 33-year-old man and his dog were recovered from the lake at Eleven Mile State Park over the weekend, Colorado officials said. Authorities recovered the body of Zachary Gursky at Eleven Mile State Park just before midnight on Friday, Aug. 1, according toColorado Parks and WildlifeandPark County Coroner's Officenews releases. Gursky and two other people had been out paddleboarding on the lake late Friday evening when a large windstorm rolled through the park, according to theColorado Parks and Wildlifenews release. One person wearing a life jacket was able to swim to shore and another, also wearing a life jacket and tethered to the paddleboard, was recovered. Gursky was not wearing a life jacket.
