August is kind of a big deal forPrincess Anne. Sure, she's always busy as one of themost hardworkingmembers of the royal family (seriously, no one clocks in moreroyal engagementsthan her) but that's not what I'm talking about. This month marksa major milestone—Princess Anne is turning 75. To celebrate the occasion, Buckingham Palace has been sharingthrowback photos, heartfelt tributes and even a few fun facts about the Princess Royal. But this week, eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed something… interesting: one of those birthday posts was quietly deleted. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) As part of the celebration, the Palace had shared a post featuring 75 Facts About Princess Anne. Well, one of those facts appeared to be a mistake. In the now-deleted post, fact number 14 read: "Her Royal Highness also has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Sir Timothy Laurence, Tom and Amy Laurence." Cue the confusion. Social media quickly lit up withpuzzled reactions. "#14 Tom and Amy Laurence? Either I've gone crazy or Sir Tim has secret children," one user wrote. "Pretty sure this is an error, but how did that happen?" Another chimed in, "Am I going a bit mad? Princess Anne has two stepchildren? That's news to me." While a third summed up what I'm sure a lot of people were thinking, writing, "Have never heard that! If so, they've certainly been kept under wraps!" The rest of the birthday content is still up, including a regal carousel post featuring Princess Anne and King Charles in full royal attire and a striking solo portrait of Anne in a chic all-cream ensemble. So, was it just a royal slip-up or something more? For now, your guess is as good as mine but the internet definitely noticed. Want all the latest royal news sent right to your inbox? Clickhere.
