The music mogul was acquitted of the most serious charges − including racketeering and sex trafficking − but wasconvicted on July 2ontwo counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. "ima always have his back," she concluded the post. Combs is currently in jail awaiting sentencing atthe Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. Huynh is a model and influencer who reportedly dated Combs from 2014 to 2019, and has spoken publicly about the physical, emotional and mental abuse she endured from Combs publiclyas early as 2019, beforeCasandra "Cassie" Ventura Fine's 2023 lawsuit. Huynh has said the Bad Boy Records founder coerced her into terminating two pregnancies, but that she stayed because she loved him. In a letter submitted Sunday, Aug. 3, to Combs' trial judge Arun Subramanian, Huynh requested the hitmaker's release on bail and wrote that Combs embodies an "energy of love, patience and gentleness" despite his "mistakes." Prosecutors said Combs – who has been jailed since last September – was "violent toward" Huynh and was in a relationship with him at the same time asCasandra "Cassie" Ventura Fine. In her letter to the judge, Huynh said that "... mistakes were made but he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future."
