DuringMoroccan Cannon's March 13Twitch stream, on which he played games with friends and talked with viewers for six hours, his 56-year-old mom and his twin sister,Monroe Cannon, popped into his bedroom.
"Chat, my mom's here," Moroccan told the stream, before asking the five-time Grammy winner, "Mom, mom, do you want to say hi?"
TheButterflysinger responded off-camera, "Of course I want to say hi."
Moroccan warned, "I'm on stream in front of all these people."
His mother replied, "Yes, should I be concerned?" to which Moroccan said, "No, you can just duck out after you say hi. Chat, this is my mom."
Carey then popped into view (around the 24:44 mark of the stream).

"Hi. Listen, I want them to know that I love them," the "One Sweet Day" singer told the viewers, who were typing comments saying hello back to her and expressing their love and excitement for the surprise appearance.
The teen reacted, "You're embarrassing me, mom," before loudly telling everyone, "Guys, I have to get back to streaming, okay?"
Carey quietly exited the screen and the bedroom as her son reminded her, "I love you, momma. Goodnight, mom, I love you."
Carey previously crashed her then-13-year-old son's Twitch stream in April 2025, with a seemingly embarrassed Moroccan saying at the time, "Mom, they can see you. They're saying, 'Hi Mariah, I love you!' Oh my God."
