A bride was moved to tears when she says her late son sent her a sign at her wedding dress appointment.

BrieOcea Dehlin, 28, was trying on wedding gowns atFrankie Jane Couture Bridalin Orem, Utah, when "Love Story" by Taylor Swift began playing. She instantly recognized the song as a spiritual sign from her late son, Romeo.

" 'Love Story' has been one of my favorite songs that remind me of him. The fact it came on during my wedding dress appointment — literally a song about saying yes —is just another beautiful confirmation of his presence," Dehlin tells PEOPLE.

The country-pop love ballad was inspired by Romeo and Juliet's forbidden romance, but instead of ending in tragedy like William Shakespeare's play, the song tells the story that love can conquer all and concludes with a proposal. There's even a line that says "go pick out a white dress."

Dehlin began singing along and shedding tears when she heard "Love Story" at her wedding dress appointment, as seen in a viral video of the heartfelt moment posted onTikToklast week. She said in the clip, "This song plays all the time when I'm having a cool moment. What the heck, Romeo!"Tatum Chiniquy Knell, the owner of the bridal shop, also became emotional and brought everyone tissues.

Dehlin added in an onscreen caption, "One of the most special moments of my life."

Romeo was 2½ years old when he died on July 4, 2022, a few days after a drowning accident in a hot tub. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children 1 to 4 years old, per theCenters for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC states, "It can happen in seconds and is often silent. "

Since Romeo's death, Dehlin says he has frequently sent her spiritual signs.

"Romeo loves playing through so many different kinds of signs — butterflies, music, people, places and things," Dehlin tells PEOPLE. "Romeo is still a beautiful part of my life, and 1,000% part of our family."

Dehlin and Connor, who co-hostThe Fully Engaged Show, legally married when they eloped in Las Vegas, and are having a wedding celebration on Aug. 8.
