Known for his lengthier hair, the "Choose the Latter" singer put his new look on full display as he smiled for snaps with Matarazzo. He paired the fresh trim with a sparkly black-and-white suit jacket and trousers, as well as black boots. The pair presented the Best Continuing Series award toDemon Slayer. Wolfhard and Matarazzo's appearance in Tokyo comes before the fifth and final season ofStranger Thingshits Netflix sometime this year. Wolfhard has appeared on the series as Mike Wheeler since the show premiered in July 2016. As he explained to PEOPLE in April, completing filming "was definitely a lot." He and Matarazzo star in the sci-fi hit alongsideMillie Bobby Brown,Noah Schnapp,Caleb McLaughlin,Sadie Sink,Joe KeeryandMaya Hawke. "I was so happy with my character's ending," Wolfhard said. "I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy." "I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect," he added of the final season. Wolfhard explained at the time that he "couldn't believe it at all" when filming the last scene forStranger Things' final season, sharing that it "didn't really start to go into focus until the next day." "It was like an emotional hangover," he said. "But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone." Wolfhard added: "The cast all stayed for the last day, we were all there together. It was really great to be around each other."
