"The neighborhood just isn't protected with them there," Monica Williams, the Black neighbor who lives beside Hartnett and Butler in Conway, near Myrtle Seashore, stated in courtroom per The Post and Courier.

In November 2023, Hartnett and Butler have been arrested after they burned a cross on their garden, police stated.
