Widespread speculation over Murray's participation had dominated the build-up to this year's Championships. The 37-year-old was slated to face Tomas Machac in the men's singles on Tuesday, while he and his brother Jamie are scheduled to play Jamie John Peers and Rinky Hijikata in the doubles later this week.
