Giovanni Pernice has reportedly said he is confident he will be cleared over allegations of misconduct while on Strictly Come Dancing. The professional dancer, 33, left the show in a scandal after he was accused of exhibiting 'threatening and abusive' behaviour towards his celebrity dance partners, including Amanda Abbington, Ranvir Singh and Laura Whitmore. The BBC launched a probe into the allegations, but it has been reported that Giovanni is unconcerned as he is 'confident' the investigation will be dropped once the tapes of his rehearsal session on Strictly were reviewed.
