While they have not specified the nature of the damage, it will reportedly 'require surgery' with the 57-year-old singer needing time for rehabilitation. Garbage – consisting of Shirley, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, and Butch Vig – rose to fame with their debut self-titled album in 1995.
