Martin Roberts has revealed he fears how much longer he has left to live as he battles the ongoing effects of a heart condition. The Homes Under the Hammer presenter, 61, previously told how he was a few hours away from death after suffering from pericardial effusion and was rushed into surgery that saved his life. Pericardial effusion is a build-up of fluid in the structure around the heart, which can compress the organ and cause a life-threatening medical emergency.
