"The View" co-host Ana Navarro posted a message on Instagram Thursday morning urging singer Gloria Gaynor to reject President Trump's Kennedy Center Honor. "A few years ago, I got to briefly meet @gloriagaynor at a concert in Miami. She gifted me a keychain that belted out 'I Will Survive,' when you pressed it. Let's just say, during first Trump term, I pressed it til it ran out of batteries," Navarro began in her Instagram post. "Yesterday, Trump announced he picked her to receive a Kennedy Center Honor, which he plans to host." Navarro continued: "Look, the woman is a goddess and deserves all the flowers that come her way. But I wish she wouldn't accept an award from the hands of a man who has attacked the rights and history of women, people of color and LGBTQ. The gay community in particular, helped turn her signature song into an anthem. Trump is a stain on the prestige and significance of the KCH. Don't do it, Gloria!" Trumpannounced this year's Kennedy Center honoreesduring a press conference Wednesday at the performing arts center. In addition to Gloria Gaynor, he revealed that actor Sylvester Stallone, the rock band Kiss, actor and comedian Michael Crawford, and country singer-songwriter George Strait will also receive the honor. The president is scheduled to host the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to American culture through performing arts, in December. In February, Trump announced he had been "unanimously" elected as chair of the Kennedy Center's board. The announcement followed a controversial move in which he replaced board members appointed by his predecessor, Joe Biden. Trump has previously criticized the Kennedy Center for featuring programming he considers too "woke." "NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA — ONLY THE BEST," he posted on Truth Social earlier this year. Varietyhas reached out to Gaynor's rep for comment. Buckingham Palace Removed Princess Anne's Birthday Post & Royal Fans Think They Know WhyNew Foto - Buckingham Palace Removed Princess Anne's Birthday Post & Royal Fans Think They Know Why

August is kind of a big deal forPrincess Anne. Sure, she's always busy as one of themost hardworkingmembers of the royal family (seriously, no one clocks in moreroyal engagementsthan her) but that's not what I'm talking about. This month marksa major milestone—Princess Anne is turning 75. To celebrate the occasion, Buckingham Palace has been sharingthrowback photos, heartfelt tributes and even a few fun facts about the Princess Royal. But this week, eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed something… interesting: one of those birthday posts was quietly deleted. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) As part of the celebration, the Palace had shared a post featuring 75 Facts About Princess Anne. Well, one of those facts appeared to be a mistake. In the now-deleted post, fact number 14 read: "Her Royal Highness also has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Sir Timothy Laurence, Tom and Amy Laurence." Cue the confusion. Social media quickly lit up withpuzzled reactions. "#14 Tom and Amy Laurence? Either I've gone crazy or Sir Tim has secret children," one user wrote. "Pretty sure this is an error, but how did that happen?" Another chimed in, "Am I going a bit mad? Princess Anne has two stepchildren? That's news to me." While a third summed up what I'm sure a lot of people were thinking, writing, "Have never heard that! If so, they've certainly been kept under wraps!" View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Royal Family (@theroyalfamily) As of now, Buckingham Palace hasn't issued any official comment about the error but the original "75 facts" post has been removed. The rest of the birthday content is still up, including a regal carousel post featuring Princess Anne and King Charles in full royal attire and a striking solo portrait of Anne in a chic all-cream ensemble. So, was it just a royal slip-up or something more? For now, your guess is as good as mine but the internet definitely noticed. Want all the latest royal news sent right to your inbox? Clickhere. NEW YORK (AP) — More than 100,000 Drinkmate carbonation bottles are being recalled across the U.S. and Canada because they can explode during use, with several consumers reporting cuts and other impact injuries. According to a Thursdaynoticefrom the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall covers certain "Drinkmate 1L Carbonation Bottles" sold individually or as part of the sparkling water maker's "OmniFizz" starter kits. That includes about 106,200 bottles in the U.S., the safety regulator noted, as well as 5,000 in Canada. Drinkmate has received eight reports of these now-recalled bottles exploding during use in the U.S., the CPSC noted — four of which resulted in cuts, impact injuries and hearing damage. And perHealth Canada, one additional case of a bottle shattering during use and causing some bruises has been reported in Canada. It wasn't immediately clear what's causing these bottles to explode — but Thursday's recall noted that the issue was limited to Drinkmate's 1-liter bottles with expiration dates between January 2026 and October 2026. The products have a clear polyethylene terephthalate body and plastic caps and bases in red, blue, white and black colors. In addition to Drinkmate's website, these bottles were sold by major retailers — including Walmart, Amazon, Target and Home Depot — between April 2023 and October 2024. Consumers in possession of the now-recalled products are urged to stop using them immediately — and contact Drinkmate for a free replacement. Those impacted can register for the recall and learn moreon Drinkmate's website. To receive a free replacement bottle, you will need to fill out an online form and upload a picture of the product with the word "recall" written on it in permanent marker, and throw it away per the recall's instructions. The Associated Press reached out to Michigan-based Drinkmate for further comment Thursday.
