Manchester City have confirmed Mary Fowler has suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The 22-year-old Matildas star limped from the field during her side's Women's FA Cup semi-final defeat by rivals Manchester United on Sunday. The Cityzens did not give a timeline for her return but, given the nature of the injury, it is expected that she will miss the remainder of the Womens' Super League season and a large amount of next season.
