Newcastle have confirmed that Eddie Howe has returned to work after being hospitalised with pneumonia. Two weeks ago, news broke that Howe was set to miss the Magpies' clash with Man United on Saturday evening, with Mail Sport reporting that the manager had been rushed to hospital after falling ill. Howe subsequently missed the 4-1 thrashing Newcastle delivered to Man United at St James' Park, which saw assistant manager Tindall oversee preparations.
