This casino took making it rain to a whole new level, but its slot machines weren't very lucky. Video taken at the J Resort in Reno, Nevada, shows water gushing out of the building's AC vents, light fixtures and sprinklers before drenching the slot machines below in the casino. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 24, during a severe thunderstorm, according to Storyful. Footage taken outside the resort shows hail covering the ground, looking like snow. At the end of the video, employees are also seen on ladders, with what appears to be pieces of the ceiling strewn in piles on the floor. Multiple holes in the ceiling are also visible. "It's so flooded," a child can be heard saying as Jared White, who filmed the video, pans his camera across the aftermath left behind by the water in the empty casino. Wet floor signs stand throughout the area. Guests were required to evacuate the casino due to the water, and an employee is seen in the video asking guests to "keep it moving, please." An employee told guests that the flooding was possibly caused by a pipe damaged by hail, according toMy News 4. USA TODAY contacted the J Resort on Tuesday, July 29, but did not receive an immediate response. Julia is a trending reporter for USA TODAY.
